8-Point Proportional High Pressure Lifting System
Hydraulic and Pneumatic were recently engaged to design, manufacture and supply a Manual 8 Point Lift System.
The requirements were challenging, with some jack positions being 60m from the valve and a requirement for proportional control of individual cylinders for precision pre-cast panel positioning.
Hydraulic & Pneumatic worked with the client to modify their lifting frame design, as originally the requirement was for proportional control at 700 Bar. As this is a very expensive requirement, we worked to re-design the system to achieve the same lifting forces at lower pressures. This saved the customer a significant amount of money, while increasing the safety of the system by reducing the running pressure by 50% and increasing cylinder safety factors by over 100%.
The system was designed and delivered with a 6 week turnaround time.
